Bookish Question #3

Bookish-question

What’s the longest series you own?

Mine’s a tie between Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery and Loves Comes Softly by Janette Oke. Both have eight books each.

  1. hmmm… i have to think on that… the longest one i OWN (as opposed to read?) would probably be the Love Comes Softly series. The longest one I’ve read is Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series at 20-something books. Oh… well… unless you count the Nancy Drew series. Hmm…

  2. I’ve also got the eight-book Love Comes Softly series, and the five-book series that followed it (A Prairie Legacy). So that’s thirteen books, if you count linked series. If you do … then I’ve got 18 books in Karen Kingsbury’s linked series about the Baxters.

Other than that, the longest series I’ve got is the nine books in the An American Family Portrait series by Jack Cavanaugh. Excellent historical fiction!

    • I haven’t read any of the Baxter books yet, but I recently found three of the Sunrise series in a second-hand bookstore. I’m excited!

Leave me a note! I always love hearing from you.
