It’s no secret around here that I love Ronie Kendig’s books. I’ve been hooked to her stories, BFFs with her heroines, and in love with her heroes ever since I read her debut novel, Dead Reckoning. Waiting for Ronie’s latest novels can only be described as sweet torture. This time, my anticipation for her newest series, The Tox Files, scaled to a whole new level. Why? Conspiracy of Silence transports readers to the land of my heart — Israel!
While I can’t say much more at this time, I will add that Ronie’s rapid-fire action, edge-of-the-seat suspense, and captivating characters made this book next to impossible to set down.
Though readers will have to wait until December to delve into this adventure (excruciating, I know!), I do bring good news. First, Warrior’s Seal, the novella that introduces The Tox Files, releases in October, making the wait a little less arduous. Second, the author herself has an exciting giveaway underway on her site. Hop on over for a chance to win the Quiet Professionals trilogy — Raptor 6, Hawk, and Falcon.

Psst, for a fun fact about about the cover model, make sure you read Ronie’s post. Let me say, it makes me love Tox, the cover, and Ronie all the more.
Four years after a tragic mission decimated his career and his team, former Special Forces operator Cole “Tox” Russell is persona non grata to the United States. And that’s fine—he just wants to be left alone. But when a dormant, centuries-old disease is unleashed at an archaeological dig where three Bronze-era artifacts are found, Tox is lured back into action. Partnered with an archaeologist and an FBI agent who’s an expert in deception, Tox and his team are pitted against a secret society, a plague, and a revered codex—which may hold the key to stopping the deadly outbreak.
